I have lived near Turn Moss for over 25 years and used it frequently – walking and playing with my children and recently dog walking with my rescued greyhound. I got involved in the campaign to protect the fields from the proposed Salford City development in late 2017 and since the proposals were defeated I have been involved with other members of the committee in trying to improve the fields for everyone, whether they are sportspeople or just using the fields to get closer to nature. I hope we can continue, in collaboration with Trafford Council, to make Turn Moss a lovely place to visit  for everyone and to make it better known so that more people can take advantage of the green space.
