Daniel Wadsworth

I have Lived in Stretford all my life and have used Turn Moss for a lot of it; playing football with a team, cricket with my brother and dad and now football on there with my son and daughter. For 42 years my extended family have walked across it every Christmas to Jackson’s Boat, so it is a big part of my family. I’m a cub leader for St Matthews in Vicky Park and was on the Friends of Longford Park Committee previously. I help Gorgeous Gorse Hill regularly, was involved in the start of the Stretford Public Hall becoming community owned and have helped on various events with Turn Moss. There were 3 generations of my family at the Neville protests so it’s clear how much we love Turn Moss. Hopefully I can use all that experience to help this group continue the huge improvements already seen.
