Our first ever Friends of Turn Moss Annual General Meeting will be on
Wednesday 31st July 2019
7pm – 9pm
at St Anne’s Social Club, Chester Road, Stretford.
There is on site parking and the building is fully accessible.
It’s been a year since we formed Friends of Turn Moss, following the success of the Save Turn Moss campaign and we’ve made huge strides since then. Our aim is to improve Turn Moss for all the community and to forge a successful working relationship with Trafford Council, Amey/One Trafford and Trafford Leisure. We want to be a Friends Group built on a solid structure with clear aims, our strength comes from each and every supporter who looks out for Turn Moss, especially those who care enough to volunteer their skills and time.
PLEASE! Join us as a member and help us grow and you’ll have a say in shaping our priorities.
Once your name is on our membership list, you become an official Friend of Turn Moss.
✅ This allows you to come along to our AGM and vote on who will serve on our Committee for the next 12 months.
✅ You can be nominated for Committee only if you are a member of FoTM.
✅ It means you receive advance notification of events and sometimes exclusive invites to activities.
✅ You’ll get regular updates via an emailed Newsletter, so anything of importance doesn’t get missed (unlike social media which can be a little hit and miss!).
✅ We often ask your opinion directly on issues of importance with regards how to improve Turn Moss. What trees to plant and where for example.

HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER OF FRIENDS OF TURN MOSS?
There is no joining fee to become a member, we just need you to send us an email with your name and personal e-mail address to .
All information is stored securely according to the latest General Data Protection Regulations (2018) and will not be passed on to any Third Parties.
We are only as strong as the volunteers and supporters who power us. The more people involved in FoTM the better, we want to represent all users. Give what time you can and help our beautiful green space thrive.

There will be a bar and probably free cake if we are allowed to bring some!
